From the start, I knew that I wanted to be one of those moms and partners that was going to be as involved in the process of making our babies as possible. Every week, I read EVERY update on EVERY baby app (about 6 of them), and share all the details with Callie. I tried to figure out a way to document all of Callie’s changes, and all of the babies developments. I love being able to look at these pictures and see how her body is changing on a weekly basis. I love knowing that my boys have eyelids, hair, fingernails, webbed hands that look like paddles and then 5 very distinct fingers and toes 3 weeks later. The comparison to foods every week puts into perspective how tiny they are, and how quickly they grow. One week they are raspberries and then a month later they are plums or peaches. Goes to show the amazing things the human body can do, and the amazing thing that Callie is doing for our family. Best part about the weekly update? How excited Callie gets that I put the board together every week. I feel like a proud Mama!
Beautiful mama!
I came across your blog tonight looking for moms-to-be who might be willing to share a bit about their pregnancy experience. I run a site that features week by week pregnancy pictures from a diverse group of moms, in an easy to navigate gallery.
If you have a minute, would you take a look at the site and see if you might consider being part of it? I included the link with this message. A lot of moms to be have found it helpful and even reassuring — you might too! If you are interested in sharing I can include a link back to you from each photo, if you like.
I hope you are feeling great and I hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks!
Jennifer

Hey Jennifer,
Your site is GREAT! I’m going to have my wife Callie take a look at it tomorrow when I get home from work. It’s nice to have a comparison. We would love to be a part of your gallery. It’s interesting to see everyone’s unique way of displaying their weekly development. Glad you found us! Thanks for the invitation!

This is great. I love scrolling through and it becomes like one of those flip picture movie book things. Two things. 1. I hate that I am 27 weeks and look like Callie in her week 13 picture!!! Also you are missing an “h” in your title for this page and it bugged me so I had to tell you hahah. ❤
LOL! I never realized that! Its been corrected! And trust me, i’m almost positive she wishes she was a regular size! Her belly is measuring at 38 weeks pregnant! So, I don’t know how much longer those boys will stay in!
Sammie & Callie,
Thanks so much for responding! Do you want me to link back here to your blog from each picture? Should I list the set under Callie? If there any information you would like me to include with your pictures?
Thanks!
Jennifer
A link back would be great. I don’t think there is any information that needs to be added..if they want more info they can just follow the link back to our site. This is so awesome!
Thanks again!,
Sammie
I love these photos! So glad you commented on my blog – I am totally new to the blogging world and learning a lot about it – but I think it’s a great way to chronicle all our adventures! Good luck in the next few weeks with your LOs!
omg she’s so beautiful pregnant!!!!
this is NOT how i looked at all!!!
Congratulations first of all! Secondly, I absolutely LOVE this idea… Everything is beautiful (especially Mama). A few questions: 1) is that an actual chalkboard, or chalkboard paint on something? 2) Did you use chalk pens or actual chalk? Thank you so much 🙂
Thanks! It is an actual chalkboard. I bought it on HomeDepot.com for $7! I just had to pick it up at the store a few days later. And I used actual chalk. Crayola chalk to be exact. When that was done, I bought a huge pack from IKEA, and that worked out well! It was so fun putting this together for my wife every week…
I never got a chance to say thank you for the tips! I’ve been doing the weekly chalkboards, and I’m already on 36 now. Time consuming, but they’re so worth it! 🙂
you are huge with those twins mama
