Cast of Characters

The story of my life wouldn’t be nearly as interesting without the following cast of clowns characters.  They are my support system, my rocks, my shoulders to cry on, and the reason for my incessant laughter.   Without them, I am not me…

Callie – My best friend, the mother of my future children, and the love of my life

Mary – Our 7 year old foster daughter (unfortunately, because of rules, I cannot add her photo)

Laney – Our 9 month old foster daughter (no picture as described above)

My family – My sisters Raquel and Natasha, my brothers Leo and Pudge, and my Parents (usually described as a unit by “The Parentals”) or simply Mom/Mami and Dad/Papi

Best Family Ever!

Marco – My best friend, my other other half, and the reason why I probably haven’t killed someone  yet.marco2 marco
Nikki – My best friend, who had me join Team FBI (Face.book Investigator), and will always be honest with me, even if it’s something I don’t want to (but probably need to ) hear.  She’s light and love all rolled into one.nicolenic1 Tee – Completing the squad of my 3 best friends, Tee is the voice of reason in our group.  She has a beautiful heart and always knows when to let you know about yourself.  She’s truly one of a kind! tee1boatlife There are many more people that are really integral in our lives, but these are the ones that you will be hearing most about.  We are surrounded by people who love us and share in the ups and downs of our lives.  We’re lucky to have so many amazing people to call our family.

  1. Thank you for opening your home to a foster child! My daughters are adopted through foster care. I had no idea what I was getting into – the challenges and the joys! – when I adopted them. You may be interested in my blog, Written Reflections. It is not only current reflections but also past ones. It includes part of my foster-adopt story and current journey to publication.
